NBS 726 Kilimanjaro - Mweka Route

Duration:	6 Days and 5 Nights

Pace:	Strenuous Activity

Day 1:	Bord your flight to Africa and being picked up from airport to your hotel for overnight.(B & B).

Day 2:	At 8:30 am picked up from the hotel to Mweka gate 2000m and starting climbing on steep slippery path up to Mweka camp 3100m in 5 - 6 hours for overnight.(B,L,D).

Day 3:	Continue steeply up a ridge to cross the southern circuit route about 4200m before continuing for about 2 hours on the Barafu huts 4600m along Karanga valley for overnight.(B,L,D).

Day 4:	Midnight walk to Uhuru peak(5895m) for approximately 6 - 7 hours then down to Horombo huts (3720m) for overnight.(B,L,D).

Day 5:	Walk down to Marangu gate via Mandara huts(2700m).It take 5 - 7 hours.Then picked up to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha.(B,L,D).

Day 6:	Transfer to airport for your flight back home OR extensions of your tour.


Details:	Ascent by this route is recommended as suitable only for those people that are physically fit and acclimatized and who have speed of access over the poor scenic beauty offered on this side. If you need an extra day please add $100 per person per day on any day you like.
