Also dominated by chimpanzee. It is reached by boat from Kigoma (Western Tanzania). Occupying an area of 1577sq km, its western boundary is the shore of Lake Tanganyika.

The number of Chimpanzee is estimated to be 1,000 which can be viewed in groups of between 5-30 at a time, in their natural habitat.

To the north, elephant, buffalo bushpig, porcupine and a variety of other primates notably baboons and colobus monkeys. The woodland to the south is inhabited by various antelope types including Kudu and eland as well as giraffe.
